Colorado Non-Profit Solutions

Build charity websites that enspire and engage.

So how do you know the best platform or technology to use, or the best direction to take?  It's an art more than it is a science.  I've been at this for a long time, so I think I do a good job relative to other Software Development providers when it comes to getting to the heart of the problem quickly.

Colorado Customers

Colorado Flag

Some information I know about Colorado is I believe the state was admitted or ratified to the United States around or about 'August 1, 1876'.  Colorado is located around latitude '39.113014' and longitude of '-105.358887' and has a population of roughly '5,773,714 million'.  If I remember correctly the capital is 'Denver' and the largest city is 'Denver'.

To be a really good Non-Profit Software firm, your team needs to possess certain skills.  I have listed a few of them below.

For Hire

As you read what I have learned about this industry please know this is an area I have limited knowledge in but would like more exposure to.

Ask The Right Questions

Consulting is like solving a puzzle.   To solve 'your' puzzle, together I need to put the pieces in the right position.  To figure out where your pieces go, I need to ask many questions.  Some questions provide very little value, while others are key to your puzzle.

Non-Profit Software is similar.  To get the best answers, I need to ask the best questions and spend as little time as possible on the wrong ones.   I find some individuals are close vest with the information, some feel their jobs are stake and some I have found are leaving and don't feel the need to share in responding in a helpful manner to the questions.  I know how to tackle these issues.

As software consultants, the way I attack your specific problem allows us to get to the most important aspects of your project as quickly as possible.

If at any point you decide to reach to me just know the area codes I am familiar with for Colorado are '303, 719, 720, 970'.  For Nonprofit assistance you will find my rates very reasonable for Colorado.  Now just keep in mind my time zone is 'Eastern Standard Time (EST)' and I know the time zones in Colorado are 'Mountain Standard Time (MST)' in case you wish to call me.  Anyway let me continue.

Be A Good Listener

Once we've asked the right questions, I need to then be a good listener.  By listening to your answers and understanding your answers, I gather the most useful information to help you.  In reality, I am processing the information you provide and grow to understand your unique problems, thus knowing the business of your business.  Our software consultants ask relevant questions, and listen to your answers.

Confirm The Obvious

I never fail to confirm the obvious.  As I am listening to your answers.  I may repeat your reply to our question, simply confirming our understanding and avoiding confusion later.  It just isn't good enough to go through the motions here.  As professional software consultants, I need to completely get it

Brainstorming

Throwing ideas around in a highly collaborative fashion.  Of course, I also rely on our experience, wisdom, and more to come up with the best solutions to your problem.

The more complex your project is, the more critical communication becomes.  If I cannot communicate at a high level (due to language or cultural barriers, for example), there is no way I am going to get  the same vision.  It's just not going to happen.

Practical Advice

I provide practical advice within your specific constraints, which probably involves time, money (budget), and other factors.  You need good advice, but you also need practical advice.  So our services are designed to come to the optimal solution - customized precisely for you.

Areas of Our Consulting Expertise

I can help you with just about anything related to custom software, including the following:

  1. Picking the appropriate software technology for your situation
  2. Clear up questions about web, desktop or mobile technologies
  3. Selecting the best hardware platform, given your budget
  4. Defining your custom software requirements
  5. Helping you plan and manage the entire project
  6. Selecting the best technologies

You know, I don't make it out to Colorado much but I would like to see the 'Lark Bunting' state bird.  I am a little familiar with the Colorado 'Rocky Mountain Columbine' state flower as well.  However, I do not know much about Colorado's state tree the 'Blue Spruce'.  Fishing is fun to me perhaps I would like reeling in the Colorado 'Greenback Cutthroat Trout' state fish.  Anyway, sorry I went off topic.  Let me continue.

I can help you achieve the best solution possible, for your your unique circumstances, business environment, budget, technical requirements, goals and objectives, and much more.
